Ryan grew up in several places. He is the son of a career officer in the U.S. Navy. Ryan graduated from a Rockville, Maryland high school and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 1995. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1999. He is admitted to the Florida, Arizona and New York Bars.
